About The Role
POSITION SUMMARY
Assists the President in the management of bank division Operations and Retail Services. Oversees multiple departments, including BSA, Operation Services, Treasury Management, Branch Administration, Retail Services, Facilities and serves as the Bank Security Coordinator.MAJOR DUTIES \& RESPONSIBILITIES
• Leads and directs the management teams of multiple core departments within Operations and Retail to accomplish annual goals. Assesses workflow and structure to implement efficiencies with personnel, customer service and sales.
• Manages direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the human assets of the company, including (but not limited to): hiring, monitoring staff performance, professional development, coaching, counseling, training, assuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission, values, policies and procedures.
• Monitors the department capital expenditure and budgeting activities.
• Participates in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of strategic business and performance goals of multiple report departments. Coordinates activities in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Formulates and recommends operating processes and objectives or changes in existing processes and objectives; ensures compliance with and implementation of approved GBCI policies and objectives and division process guides. Adheres to all GBCI policies and procedures
• Responsible for BSA duties distributed to divisions as well as with CBSAT on centralized functions. Interacts and cooperates with and assists the Corporate BSA Team (CBSAT) in the performance of all functions necessary to maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering and 0FAC requirements. Complies with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
• Works with law enforcement agencies preventing fraud losses to customers and bank. Provide resources for law enforcement and staff analyzing fraud situations. Confidential time sensitive investigations and security video review. Works closely with GBCI Centralized Fraud department.
• Manages vendor relationships to provide security functions such as Fed cash delivery, ATM fills, security video systems, alarms, access control to protect facilities and ATMs.
• Oversees Security functions including but not limited to: Develop, maintain, and implement Glacier Bank’s Security Policy.
• Maintains Business Continuity Plan.
• Actively manages an effective marketing plan for deposit growth and fee generation.
• Actively build a sales culture environment emphasizing complete Relationship Banking.
• Responsible for CRA duties distributed to divisions. Maintains an understanding and working knowledge of GBCI CRA Program. Tracks the Division’s CRA goals and results.
• Analyzes deposit interest rate environment and provides recommendations for ALCO committee.
• Oversees division High Performance Growth (HPG) program.
About You
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
• Ten or more years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor degree in business, finance, marketing or related field.
Knowledge, Skill, Ability (Other Skills):
• Familiarity with all areas of consumer compliance, core processing systems, the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti\-Money Laundering regulations, and the Gramm\-Leach\-Bliley Act.
• The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
• JHA Silverlake experience preferred
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
