Contracts Manager - Fire Safety Projects

Job Description
About the Role:
Our Client, a leading Fire Safety Company, are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contractors and ensure the successful delivery of fire safety-focused projects within housing networks. This role demands strong technical knowledge in building materials, specifications, and fire remediation, with a focus on fire safety compliance. The role will involve some travel across the UK, signing off works, and collaborating with Fire Risk Assessors (FRAs) to ensure fire safety requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate five building contractors for housing network projects.
• Ensure fire safety compliance, with a focus on BS9999 and BS9991 standards.
• Interpret schedules, manage project specifications, and oversee NHF Schedule of Rates application.
• Conduct site visits and sign-off on completed works, ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards (BS9999, NEBOSH Fire, BS9991).
• Background in project management, materials knowledge, and contractor oversight.
• Familiarity with National Housing Federation Codes and schedules preferred.
