Job Description

Individual contributors who provide organizational related support or service (administrative or clerical). Spends majority of time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. Has working knowledge and skills developed through formal training or considerable work experience. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions. The Information Technology job family acquires, designs, implements and operates the university's information technology solutions for faculty, staff and students, including computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, data processing and security. Responsible for assembling, transporting, operating, maintaining, and repairing the technical equipment associated with live events and businesses. Ensures all of the audio\-visual presentations and equipment runs smoothly. Maintains a catalog of equipment the organization owns and teaching others to operate the equipment. May also provide visual graphics, audio tracks and lighting for live events.
