Come work with a local, woman, and therapist founded and run company! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Sign Language Interpreter to provide services in the school setting for the 2024\-2025 school year! We are looking for to hire for a full time position. We are proud to be founded by school\-based therapists. We offer industry\-leading wages for ASL Sign Language Interpreters,starting at $40/hour

Whether you are new to special education, or are a seasoned professional, send us an email, call, or text.Responsibilities and Duties
• The Sign Language Interpreter transliterates and interprets, through use of sign language, materials for the hearing disabled student. Facilitates communication between users and non\-users of sign language.
• Position begins ASAP thru the end of the school year with high possibility to extend to next school year
• 1\.0 FTE, middle school position assigned to one student
Qualifications and Skills
• Thorough knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and Signing Exact English
• Must have State Authorization as an Educational Interpreter

4\.0 EIPA or higher required
• Requires fingerprinting before starting
