Summary

Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the early learning program. In collaboration with the Executive Director the Coordinator will develop, coordinate, plan, lead, and supervise the child care staff and program.

Duties

The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Executive Director. The Program Coordinator will need to be able to:

• Lead daily operations of the child care program, including working with teachers on a daily basis

• Fill in for teachers in the classroom when necessary

• Ensure the site is in compliance and have a deep understanding of OEC Regulations, including the BCIS system, and School Readiness

• Support the program in compliance with NAEYC Accreditation

• Review and provide feedback on learning experience plans and activities

• Assist in planning professional development and serve as the liaison to outside consultants

• Support in hiring staff

• Other duties as required

Requirements

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field Supervisory experience
