Lexikeet seeks to recruit additional Telugu \<\> English document translators \- This is an independent contractor, work\-from\-home position. The Translator would be responsible for document translations, proofreading and/or formatting on an as\-needed basis. An appropriate candidate MUST have a good command of Microsoft Word and MUST have experience working with PDF documents, including converting them to Word (.docx) format and editing PDFs directly.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
\- Translating English documents into written Telugu and vice versa via Lexikeet's online system (previous translation experience preferred, however we will provide on\-the\-job training).
\- Proofreading and editing already completed translations in Telugu\<\>English.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
\- Must be based in the USA or Canada.
\- Telugu literacy and fluency.
\- English literacy and fluency.
\- Strong digital literacy.
\- Committed to submitting all projects on time.
\- Self\-motivated \& self\-organized.
\- Ability to type
in Telugu.
\- Access to a private desktop or laptop computer as well as a private internet connection
