AV Lead Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio-Visual Technician to join our Covington team, specializing in entertainment venues, schools, and corporate offices. The Audio-Visual Technician will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of audio and video equipment, ensuring top-notch performance for all events and presentations. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in diverse and dynamic environments. Job Responsibilities: • Install audio and video equipment in commercial environments like schools, higher education buildings, corporate offices, and entertainment venues • Ensure proper functionality of sound systems, projectors, and video displays in different client settings • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on AV equipment • Maintain an inventory of AV equipment and supplies • Assist in the design and installation of AV systems • Test equipment to ensure seamless operation Job Requirements: • Driver's License • High School Diploma or GED • +3 years experience as an AV Technician • Ability to create cabling pathway • Experience with equipment rigging • Experience with Cisco, Q-sys, Biamp, Crestron equipment • CTS preferred • Working knowledge of Commercial Audio Video Systems • Working knowledge of IP Video & Voice systems preferred • Working knowledge of CATV system installation preferred • Working knowledge of Audio Video Control Systems (AVCS) preferred • Ability to read and interpret schematical drawings Job Compensation and Details: • Pay- $25-27/hr with potential bonus at year end • Shift Time and Days- 7am-3:30pm, M-F with rare off hours • Benefits include but not limited to: Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance, 401k, Vacation, PTO, and Paid Holidays Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • Day shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
