Chicken Salad Chick provides a delicious menu with a variety of 12 Chicken Salads, homemade sides, delicious soups, and great sandwiches. This location is one of the originals to the franchise, and we are looking for a hospitality professional to help us maintain a team of excellence and superb service.
Job Title: Hourly Team Member

We are closed on Sundays and don't have any operating hours that are too late or too early. Chicken Salad Chick provides a delicious menu with a variety of 12 Chicken Salads, homemade sides, delicious soups, and great sandwiches. We are a fast-growing brand with opportunities for growth. Join our team of highly skilled and motivated individuals and become part of New Mexico's first Chicken Salad Chick location! This is a brand new location opening in early April. We will start interviewing in March and training the first week of April.
Responsibilities
• Offer every guest, on every visit, a superb experience that creates a lasting memory. Greet every guest to welcome them to our restaurant!
• Support and assist fellow team members whenever possible.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area according to Chicken Salad Chick (CSC) standards.
• Monitor quality, safety, and appearance of all products and ingredients.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and thoroughly in accordance with CSC standards.
• Restock work area before leaving shift.
• Adhere to Company uniform and grooming standards.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
• Report problems (faulty equipment, product shortages, etc.) to supervisor promptly.
• Complete other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Cashier/Service Responsibilities
• Always adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible.
• Greet Guests, take food/beverage orders, expedite orders, and assist with dining room service.
• Properly operate POS system for taking all types of Guest orders.
• Responsible for properly charging Guests and for collecting payment for orders; cash, credit, or debit card transactions.
• Answer phone properly with knowledge to assist Guest with questions/information and take phone orders.
• Interact with Guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Restock drink station and expo area, maintain restroom cleanliness, empty trash cans, and help to keep dining room and other Guest areas clean.
• Maintain portion control for products per standards.
• Clean equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
• Keep floor in work or service area clean and free of debris.
• Complete daily tasks timely and thoroughly in accordance with standards.
• Complete duties on opening and closing prep and checklists.
• Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties.
• Understand and comply consistently with CSC standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare all Guest orders with strict adherence to CSC standards for quality, portioning, and appearance standards.
• Engage with the guests throughout the workday.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation including tables, shelves, walls, steamer, sandwich line, and refrigeration equipment.
• Close the line kitchen properly, following the closing checklist for line kitchen and assist others in closing the kitchen.
• Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to Management.
• Inform Management immediately of product shortages.
• Use our Standard Recipe Cards for preparing all products.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with team members and guests.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality; reliability.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.
