The Solution Engineer is a customer\-facing, pre\-sales through implementation and delivery role. In this role, you will partner with Enterprise Sales and Enterprise Relationship Managers to engage with prospects and existing client close new business. You will be responsible for developing compelling data solutions and communicating the value throughout the sales cycle, from discovery to demo to proof of concept to implementationKey Responsibilities:

Pre\-Sales Support:
• Work closely with Sales and Relationship Management to develop prospective and existing customers through the sales process
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
• Develop and deliver custom presentations and demonstrations to customers based upon their specific requirements
• Creation of technical proposals, RFP responses, SOWs and technical documentation to align solutions with client needs.

Solution Design:
• Analyze customer challenges and design customized technical solutions using company products and services.
• Coordinate with product and engineering teams to ensure feasibility and scalability of solutions.

Customer Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with customers by understanding their business goals and acting as a trusted technical advisor.
• Conduct workshops, webinars, and training sessions to enable customers to make the most of the solution.

Implementation \& Post\-Sales Support:
• Facilitate the smooth deployment of solutions by working closely with the implementation and support teams.
• Provide post\-sales technical support as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.

Product Expertise \& Innovation:
• Stay up to date with product developments, industry trends, and competitive solutions.
• Collect Voice of Customer to enhance our understanding of product\-market fit, evaluate target market segments and influence development priorities.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 10\+ years of experience in a technical role such as Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Pre\-Sales Consultant, or similar.
• Technical Skills:
• Experience with Energy / Commodities Trading industries and/or Financial Services within Fortune 1000 firms.
• Experience with data\-enabled platforms and the ability to map complex data flows throughout an organization
• Experience in building data queries, data bases and data systems.
• Strong understanding of software, SaaS platforms, or IT infrastructure.
• Experience in assisting clients moving from on\-premise to cloud\-computing solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs and other downstream integrations.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) or integration tools is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non\-technical audiences.
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with a customer\-first mindset.
• Collaboration: Ability to work cross\-functionally and thrive in a fast\-paced, team\-oriented environment.
• Ability to travel as needed.
