Job Description
MagnaWave is currently seeking an Electronics Technician/Assembler to join our growing team. MagnaWave has been working with PEMF (Pulsed Electro\-Magnetic Field) equipment for 15\+ years. We are looking for positive, motivated, and reliable candidates who have experience and knowledge of electronic device assembly and repair. Opportunity for an increase after 90 days of employment and 100% employer paid health insurance is available for employees after 30 days of employment.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.
• Sourcing or fabricating parts for electronic systems.
• Experience with or knowledge of board circuitry preferred.
• Ensuring all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Understanding of a Quality Management System (QMS).
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Interpreting drawings/schematics, training documents, and instructions in order to perform duties.
• Ability to solder and to apply proper soldering techniques depending on the application.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and within a team while remaining professional with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to function well in a fast\-paced and at times stressful environment, with ability to meet deadlines.
• Good hand\-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
• Proficient with inventory management systems or related software, basic computer skills required.
• Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; An associate degree in electronics or similar field preferred.
• 2\-3 years of experience in the test, repair, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of electronics parts and components preferred.
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking through facility.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on electronics components.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at times.
• Temperature controlled work environment.
