SMT Laboratory Technician

Come join our team! PSI is a small service company providing laboratory services to the electronics manufacturing industry. Experience in a laboratory environment is a plus, so is experience with electronics assembly. But more important is work ethic, smarts, showing up on time (and sober, haha) and a willingness to learn. We can train on the industry, and specific job functions. Most of the work of a lab tech involves sample prep, inspecting samples under microscope, identifying solder defects, capturing and organizing images of samples, and completing job records. Technicians must understand and follow customer provided "scope of work" instructions. Much of your work will be ensuring that circuit boards conform to the IPC 610C Standards for Acceptability of finished assemblies, although we perform a variety of tests and analytical services, so it's never boring around here. There will be opportunities to advance, and to cross train in other departments.
