Treasury Services Manager

Job Description

The Treasury Services Manager is responsible to lead a team to provide a full range of technical, consultative, and advanced support to clients related to Cash Management and Treasury Services, Remote Deposit Capture, ACH, Wire Origination, Reporting, System Integrations, and Positive Pay; includes but not limited to, application review, underwriting, solutions recommendations, technical support, remote and on\-site installations and implementations, and management of transaction processing.

Exempt/Non\-Exempt Criteria:

This position is expected to operate under general supervision by the EVP, Chief Technology Officer; supervises Cash Management Specialists; focused on special projects and supporting business development and relationship management with the Bank’s Treasury Services Solutions.

Duties \& Responsibilities:

Partners with the Bank’s sales team to onboard clients in the Bank’s cash management services; leads discussions with clients via telephone or on\-site at the business location; determines client’s business needs and recommends services and solutions to meet those needs.
Manages cash management service provisioning; performs account underwriting and due diligence in preparation for the approval of service; maintains proper agreements, builds user profiles, onboards complex clients and ensures successful adoption of the Bank’s digital solutions.
Performs annual reviews of clients enrolled in cash management services, evaluates risk rating, recommends limits changes, and ensures proper documentation is maintained.
Manages the Bank’s cash management services, including Remote Deposit Capture, ACH, Wire Origination, Reporting, System Integrations, and Positive Pay; assists clients with originating payments, creating scheduled transactions, building reports, integrating with QuickBooks and other client systems, entering recipient data, and file formatting.
Responsible for consultative instruction and expert guidance via telephone, e\-mail, remotely, or in person; assists clients with related requirements such as browser or security settings, overall product usage, and training.
Leads department efforts to support onboarding of new cash management services post implementation to ensure solutions are effectively leveraged by clients.
Escalates professional services candidates for evaluation and resolution.
Authority to approve limit increases.
Develops reports to monitor the success of the Cash Management services including SLAs, product penetration, and profitability, and identifies new prospects for services to ensure client retention.
Reviews transactions, for various payment types, detected by the systems for risk and fraud flags and anomalous activity; Investigates transactions and contacts clients to confirm validity prior to processing; escalates issues to management and prepares suspicious incident reports when applicable.
Leads advanced support to Bank clients for commercial online banking; responds to customer inquiries or complaints and forwards messages to the branches as appropriate, escalates to management when applicable; troubleshoots and resolves problems within given authority.
Oversees pipeline of requests for technical support to clients in commercial online banking.
Leads review process for mobile and Remote Deposit Capture items, as well as Positive Pay exceptions, originated through commercial online banking, leveraging knowledge of clients for proper decisions, consistent with SLAs.

Comply with all bank policies and procedures and all applicable government regulations including, but not limited to Reg CC, Reg E, Reg D, UCC, NACHA Rules, staying current and knowledgeable of all policies, procedures and regulations related to the job functions and completing all assigned training on time, requesting additional training as needed to be proficient in all job responsibilities; cooperating with internal and external auditors and bank examiners by providing full cooperation and timely delivery of requested documentation and information; and reporting concerns about compliance to the Compliance Officer to enable prompt remediation.
Comply with Bank policies and procedures relating to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) guidance. Report suspicious activity to the BSA Department through a Suspicious Incident Report (SIR).
Adhere to privacy and information security policies and ensure all sensitive internal and external customer information is properly secured and safeguarded. Use secure methods delivering client and/or confidential data by email.

Qualifications:

At least

five years

of Treasury Management or Sales experience within a financial institution, including banking information systems and/or financial services products.
Motivational, budgeting and project management experience preferred. A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Advanced knowledge of Treasury Management products, processes and systems.
Technical expertise with payment, money movement, reconciliation, and fraud prevention solutions.
Must have strong supervisory/management, organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems with an strong degree of creativity and resourcefulness.
Must be able to work with clients, employees and management with regards to Treasury Management issues and services.
Strong customer relationship skills.
Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a college or technical trade school or other related experience and/or training. Educational experience, through in\-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be applicable to the financial industry.
Expert knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, Bank policies and procedures.
Report building proficiency and working knowledge of business intelligence solutions (e.g. Cognos)
Expertise with Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on Excel manipulation
Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; compute rate, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence and procedures, speak clearly to clients and employees.
Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non\-standardized situations.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
