Carnegie Mellon University's College of Fine Arts is searching for a

Research Assistant

to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. We are seeking creative and upbeat

R

esearch Assistant

that will follow research plans in order to collect, record and manipulate research data, while maintaining accurate and detailed research records.

Responsibilities:

Research Support: Assist in conducting exploratory and generative research, including developing research protocols, conducting field studies, and gathering qualitative and quantitative data.
Data Analysis: Analyze data to identify key insights, patterns, and opportunities.
Solution Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the conceptualization, design, and prototyping of innovative solutions.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of research activities and findings. Prepare reports and presentations to share progress and insights.
Performs library research and field explorations.
May test software prototypes. May interact with research subjects in order to perform job functions.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree
1\-3 years of data collection and analysis experience
1\-3 years of record management experience
1\-3 years of research experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with research methods and data analysis
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in using digital tools for research and design.
