Job Description: As a Front of House Crew Member at the vibrant Moxy Vanderbilt Hillsboro Village, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This dynamic position encompasses a combination of Front Desk responsibilities and Bartending duties, catering to our guests' needs and ensuring a lively and welcoming atmosphere in our bar area. Qualifications: - Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. - Bartending experience and knowledge of cocktail preparation techniques. - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage guests and provide top-notch service. - Strong multitasking abilities and a positive, outgoing personality. - A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences and creating a lively atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: - Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm, engaging welcome to the hotel. - Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries efficiently using our hotel management system. - Assist guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services. - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Moxy's signature style and standards. - Engage with guests, creating a lively atmosphere while providing exceptional service at the bar. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and inventory management. - Ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for guests by anticipating their needs and providing personalized service. - Uphold Moxy's playful and energetic vibe, contributing to the unique atmosphere that defines the brand. - Collaborate with other team members across various departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction. - Support fellow crew members during busy periods and contribute to a positive work environment. Shift Availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Night Shift (Preferred) Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Light work – exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
